When it comes to painting, we have an understanding. I go with her to the paint store and look at paint chips and even though we both know that I am incapable of looking at said chips and picturing what a room will look like with that colour, I nod encouragingly and try really hard not to complain. I do all the grunt work. I carry the paint up to the apartment, I move furniture, take down pictures and bi-fold doors and electrical covers, I fill holes and sand them smooth, I put everything back when the painting is done and I walk that fine line between being there when ever she needs something, but not being in the way. However, I am never ever allowed to touch a wet paintbrush or roller.

How did we achieve such an understanding? Early in our relationship she asked me to help paint and I was so spectacularly inept that she never asked me again. She’s smart enough to know that was my intent all along, but she enjoys painting and I don’t. So it all works out just fine.

I must admit there is one part of painting that I do like. ♀ likes to paint naked.

I wasn’t quick enough with the camera to get the paint across her boobies shot…sorry.

One morning after work, I was sitting on the toilet and I noticed a perfect imprint of her ass on the glass door of the shower. I was really hoping she’d leave it there, but it’s gone now. Sigh.

That’s our bedroom she’s painting. Did you notice the colour?  Apparently it’s called Marian’s Meadow. ♀ and Jackie exchanged several emails to discuss colours so that our Queynte painting would be a perfect fit in our room. How’s that for being organized?

I have to tell you a funny story. I think I mentioned before that the subject of the painting was more obvious then we thought it would be. My mother said it looked very vulval.  20 yr old Junior said, “oh my God, you can see the lips!” 

The relationship with my ex is, to say the least, difficult and the last thing I need is for Mini (almost 13) to tell his mother that there’s a huge picture of  his step-mom’s pussy above our bed. So before he saw it I told him that it’s an abstract painting. We sent a bunch of pictures to the artist and this is what she came up with.

 He looked at it for a long time then his face lit up and he pointed to the left side of the painting and said, “Oh wow, is that ♀ sky-diving?”

   Haha, I love the story that goes with that picture. And painting naked is something I’ve never thought of doing. Though it is very very hot, and probably keeps you from getting paint all over your “good clothes”, LOL!

   Naked painting hey? Never thought of that, then again I haven’t had the need to paint anything since I moved out of home (and I certainly wasn’t doing it there lol). Love the painting

   Well I just love your sky diving picture!!! And it is absolutely GREAT to see it hanging on your wall. I don’t often see my artwork finished and framed, and in situ, especially when its in a different country, so I really do appreciate seeing this, thanks. And the frame and mount really enhance the painting, good choice!!

   I love the fact that innocent eyes will not see what less innocent eyes see, it is the ultimate joke on the wall for me!
