Since I work nights and ♀ works days we really don’t sleep at the same time very much.

If I get home from work and into bed early we might get an hour before she needs to get up. When we first started dating she started work much earlier than now so quite often her alarm was going just as I was getting home and it was a good time for lovin. Now that she works school hours, morning sex doesn’t happen very often…to bad because I really like going to sleep with a big O. 

Usually on nights I don’t work,  I’ll hold her while she falls asleep.  If we’ve just had sex I might even snooze with her for an hour or so. So other than early mornings and a bit of time on the weekends there’s not very much real sleeping together going on in our bed.

Of course there’s pro’s and con’s to every situation. The downside is I don’t get to cuddle her as much as I would like to. Seriously, when I spoon her I try to get as much skin-on-skin contact as is humanly possible. The upside is I’m a very light sleeper and ♀ moves around a lot when she sleeps.  How much, you ask? Well, we have black-out blinds on our bedroom window so if the lights are out, it’s really dark. One day this week I was getting ready for bed and I couldn’t see that ♀ was sleeping sideways. I went to sit on the edge of the bed to pull my pants off and I sat right on her head. She yelled and I shrieked like a sissy and it’s funny now, but at the time…not so much.

Saturday morning when I climbed into bed, she was completely back-ass-wards so I cuddled up to her legs and fell asleep sucking on her big toe like a soother.
